Tamil Nadu CM Disclosed Centres for Skill Training in Healthcare & Logistics

CM of Tamil Nadu, Edappadi K. Palaniswami, inaugurated an epic venture on Thursday, 5 November in Guindy and Orgadam, Tamil Nadu. The venture included the  centers for two different things which are:

1. Tamil Nadu Apex Skill Development Centre for Healthcare which is located in Guindy, and

2. Apex Skill Development Centre for Logistics.

Japan International Co-operation Agency (JICA) also helped in the development of these two ventures. This assistance came as a part of the TNIPP Phase – II.

An official statement read that the TN Apex Skill Development Center for Healthcare in here – a joint endeavor between Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) and Kauvery Hospital – is pointed toward bestowing very good quality aptitudes preparing in the medical services area. It likewise targets giving high innovation request-driven aptitude advancement courses to build up a pool of exceptionally gifted medical services labor force. Considering the pandemic, the WHO is to offer aptitude preparing in dealing with COVID-19 cases.

The Apex Skill Development Centre for Logistics in Oragadam is developed to fulfill the objective of improved skill in laborers in the concerned sector. It will help laborers to find better jobs which in return will increase their standard of living.

Mr. Palaniswami additionally basically introduced new structures for the Revenue Department built in Chennai and Perambalur areas at a complete expense of ₹4.76 crores. Social welfare department also constructed a new infrastructure for welfare of more than 100 kids. It is located on Dr. Thangraj road in Madurai. It came at an expense of Rs. 5 crores. CM felt honoured in unveiling this prestigious institution.

In the eyes of CM, another MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) was also signed with Central Footwear Training Institute. This partnership came forward to develop a new institute in Vaniyambadi. This institute may come at an expense of Rs. 20.37 crores.

These officials were also  present in the events. Namely:

  • P. Benjamin who is Minister for Rural Industries,
  • V. Saroja who is Social Welfare Minister
  • R.B. Udhayakumar who is Revenue Minister,
  • Nilofer Kafeel who is labour minister and
  • K. Shanmugam, chief secretary.
