Ownership and Funding
Who owns Nursing News India and how we sustain ourselves.

Publisher
Nursing News India is published by Hormones River Media, registered in India. Registered address: Hormones River Media, Delhi, India.
Ownership
Hormones River Media is a privately held publishing company. The publication has no political-party affiliation, no industry-trade-body backing, and no government funding.
How we fund our journalism
- Display advertising — banner and in-feed ads, sold and served according to our Advertising Standards (no pharmaceutical advertorial as news, no targeted political ads, no offensive content).
- Sponsored content — labelled clearly as Sponsored in the byline area and visually distinct from news. Sponsors don’t see drafts, can’t edit, and can’t kill stories.
- Newsletter sponsorships — a single sponsor per week, with a short labelled message in the weekly Tuesday brief.
- NursingAtoms super-app — a related product (also owned by Hormones River Media) earns from premium courses and a future paid tier. Editorial doesn’t influence the app’s business decisions and vice versa.
What we don’t take money for
- News coverage. Coverage is decided by editorial alone.
- Removing accurate stories. We don’t accept payment to take stories down.
- Endorsements. We don’t accept payment for product or service endorsements in editorial content.
Disclosure of business relationships
When we write about a company, regulator, or organisation that has a current business relationship with Hormones River Media (advertiser, partner, supplier), we disclose it in the article footer.
Editorial independence
Our editorial team operates independently of the business team. Advertisers see no editorial calendars, no drafts, and no embargo lists ahead of publication.
