Privacy Policy

What we collect

Nursing News India collects the minimum information needed to run the site:

• Newsletter signups — your email address, captured via double opt-in and stored with our email service provider (Brevo) and in our database (Supabase).
• Contact form submissions — your name, email, and message, stored to respond to you and removed when the matter is resolved.
• Account data — if you sign in with Google to bookmark articles: your Google email, name, and profile photo (read-only). We never receive your Google password.
• Bookmarks — the article slugs you save. Stored locally in your browser until you sign in, then synced to your account.
• Anonymous analytics — page views, browser type, country (via Google Analytics or similar). No personally identifying tracking.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell your data to anyone.
• We don’t use third-party advertising trackers that follow you across the web.
• We don’t require an account to read articles.
• We don’t post on your behalf or share your activity without explicit permission.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for session management and remembering your preferences (font size, language). Analytics cookies are used only with consent on first visit. You can revoke this consent at any time from your browser settings.

Third parties

• Brevo — newsletter delivery (double opt-in, GDPR-compliant).
• Supabase — database for newsletter, contact form, and bookmarks. Hosted in EU.
• Google — OAuth sign-in (only if you choose), Analytics.
• Cloudflare R2 — media (images, audio) storage.
• Hostinger — web hosting in India.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email contact@nursingnews.in with your request and we’ll respond within 30 days.

Children

Nursing News India is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change. Material changes are announced via the site banner and our newsletter at least 7 days before they take effect.
