Indian Nursing Council has created a 3 months bridge course for nurses seeking an overseas opportunity. Necessary approvals are already taken from the Health Ministry, INC confirmed in the notes.
The program is designed keeping below objectives in consideration:
1.Impart knowledge based on country-specific requirements relevant to patient care for nurses migrating overseas.
2. Enhance the competencies on key areas for adoption in a country-specific healthcare delivery system.
3. Enhance communication skills as per specific language requirement.
4. Promote the soft skills of nurses required to provide efficient nursing practice to patients belonging to different cultural communities.
There are set of minimum requirements for institutions willing to start the course.
