Tragedy-Road Accident in Jagdalpur, Several Injured with ANS of AIIMS, Raipur Died on the Spot

A tempo traveling with 15 people, including 13 nursing officers from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences was tragically involved in an accident. The tempo was traveling from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, to Jagdalpur on a personal trip. The accident took place on the morning of 27th September at around 6.30 AM near Bhanpuri, Jagdalpur.

Sumesh C, a 35-year-old Assistant Nursing Superintendent (ANS), was pronounced dead on the spot. Twelve nursing officers are admitted to Jagdalpur Medical College, while the other two are admitted to CHC, Bhanpuri.

They are currently operating on Shrilaxmi (28 Years) and Rohini Suresh. Currently, they are secure and unharmed.

For the purpose of bringing back injured Nursing Officers and other passengers, AIIMS, Raipur is offering all essential assistance. The AIIMS fraternity sends its sincere condolences to the deceased’s family.
