NBE (National Board of Examination) has decided to, yet again, to postpone NEET PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Post Graduate). There is no further announcement for the new exam dates.

The NBE not long ago, delivered the temporary timetable for PG Medical Exams led by it. According to the temporary timetable, the following exams were scheduled as follows:

  1. NEET PG 2021 on 10/01/2021,
  2. NEET MDS 2021 on 16/12/2020,
  3. FMGE December 2020 meeting on 04/12/2020 and
  4. DNB PDCET 2021 on 28/01/2021.

Be that as it may, the NBE has now delivered a public notification illuminating the suspension regarding the temporary timetable.

The above-mentioned exam, NEET-PG, is conducted every year for the following categories:-

  • 1979 seats for PG Diploma
  • 10,821 seats for  Master of Surgery (MS), and
  • 19,953 seats for Doctor of Medicine (MD).

The colleges all over India take admission for almost 48000 seats.

The paper design includes an aggregate of 300 objective type inquiries for which every competitor will be allocated three hours and 30 minutes. Last year’s statistics shows that almost 1.48 lakh students gave the exam which was conducted in 165 major cities.

The assessment structure would be delivered by the Board alongside the official notice in the main seven day stretch of November. NEET PG test 2021 will be a PC based test with 300 different multiple-choice questions. Major 162 cities all over the country are being selected as centers for the exam.

The board is trying to meet at conclusions with meetings with stakeholders for the conduct of exam. Considering the previously mentioned correspondence from NMC, the temporary timetable for the conduct of NEET-PG 2021 as declared by NBE vide its notification dated 16th September 2020 stands conceded till additional notification.
