Healthcare Updates from Red Fort

Atmanirbhar Bharat and Testing Labs

“In the time of corona, attention to healthcare system is natural and that is why one of the biggest learning of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat” coming from healthcare system. To achieve the this goal, we have to move ahead. Before corona, there was only one testing lab, today there are 1400 testing lab network, when corona appeared only 300 test were being done per day. People have shown the power and we could do more than 7 lac test a day” he said.

Capacity Building and Modernization

“New AIIMS, and medical college created with efforts of modernization, there is an increase of more than 45 thousand MBBS and MD seats in India,” he said.

Wellness Centers

“More than 1.5 lac wellness centers are being prepared and one-third of them contributed during the high time of corona. The role of the wellness sector was important which helped the villages” he said.

National Digital Health Mission

“Today a big mission is getting started Indian Healthcare sector names as National Digital Health Mission (NDHM). There will be a role of technology in it and will bring a revolution in the Healthcare Industry. Technology will be used to reduce the treatment difficulties” he said.

“Every Indian will be given a Health ID card that will work as a health account. All tests, diseases, medicine is taken and the doctors visited, this information will be stored electronically in the program. Either talking to a doctor or a run to make a receipt for, there will be freedom from a lot of difficulties with the help of this mission. People will be able to make better decisions about their Health” he said.

Vaccines Development and Scientists

“Whenever corona talk comes then one talk is natural that is when the corona vaccine will be ready, I want to say all the Indian that scientist are working like “Rishi/Muni” (Saints), and continuously working very hard with high commitments. In India, not one or two, there are three vaccines reached in the testing phase, when green flags from scientists come, will start full swing production and a framework of fast distribution of vaccines is already prepared” he said.

COVID-19 vaccine is being discussed all around the world and each country has its own limitations and challenges in the development and trials. Narendra Modi discussed the vaccine progress on the occasion of Independence Day.
