Guardians Global Nursing Award is being given by Aster DM Healthcare, a global organization having more than 25 hospitals and 115 clinics.

Nurses in any part of the world can apply for the award or you can nominate a nurse.

There are some eligibility criteria for the nomination including 2 years of experience. The complete list can be found here

10 Finalists will be selected by a team of a renowned jury and Ernst & Young as an agency.

First Prize: 1 Crore ($250000 USD)

Other: 9 monetary prizes

The final Aster Guardian Global Nursing Award winner will be announced on 12th May on the occasion of International Nurses Day this year.

Dr. Azad Moopen, MD FRCP, Founder Chairman and Managing Director of Aster DM Healthcare, says “Nurses form the backbone of healthcare and play the most critical role in patient care. They are the real guardians of the patients and aid the entire recovery process. They put their patients before their families and loved ones to fulfill their duty. Through Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award, we aim to bring their sacrifices and commitment to light and celebrate them globally.”

The last date for accepting nominations was January 30, 2022, and now been extended till 15th Feb 2022

Nursing New India was aware of this award but did not publish it due to not verifying information. A recent update at Indian Nursing Council confirms the award is valid and not fake.
