A commissioning ceremony was recently held at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) in Pune, India to honor the nursing graduates of the AFMC College of Nursing. The event saw 47 graduates receive their commissioning as lieutenants in the Indian Armed Forces Nursing Service.

The ceremony was attended by senior officials of the Indian Armed Forces, as well as family and friends of the graduates. The event also saw the presentation of awards to the top-performing graduates, with Lt Vaishnavi Dixit being awarded top honors for her outstanding performance in the course.

Lt Vaishnavi Dixit, who was awarded top honors at the ceremony, expressed her gratitude for the training she received at the AFMC College of Nursing. “The training I received at the AFMC College of Nursing has equipped me with the skills and knowledge I need to serve as a nurse in the Indian Armed Forces. I am honored to have received this award, and I look forward to serving my country with dedication and commitment.”
