Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has recently underscored the indispensable role of nurses and paramedic staff in delivering comprehensive healthcare services. Recognizing their valuable contributions, Adityanath emphasizes the parallel importance of nurses alongside doctors in promoting patients’ recovery and overall well-being.

During a significant event in Lucknow, appointment letters were presented to 1442 newly appointed staff nurses highlighting the criticality of a robust medical system and the need for quality nursing education to support healthcare infrastructure. 7182 newly selected Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANM) were also given appointment letter in a separate program a day earlier.

Adityanath’s vision extends further, with plans to expand medical education across districts, reduce unemployment rates, and strengthen collaborative efforts within the healthcare sector. These initiatives aim to empower the healthcare workforce and enhance the quality of patient care throughout Uttar Pradesh.

In a momentous event held in Lucknow, Chief Minister Adityanath presents appointment letters to 1442 newly selected staff nurses. Adityanath reaffirms the government’s unwavering commitment to the ambitious “one district, one medical college” initiative. With Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership, the Chief Minister assures the establishment of medical colleges in every district of Uttar Pradesh. Where feasible, the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model will be leveraged to facilitate specialized healthcare services.

Driving Employment and Economic Growth

Shedding light on the positive strides in employment, Adityanath highlights the significant reduction in unemployment rates. From approximately 19% in 2017, the rate has significantly plummeted to a commendable 3-5%. The Chief Minister reaffirms the government’s determination to create one lakh government jobs and 12-15 lakh private sector opportunities annually, promising a brighter future for the youth of the state.

Inspiring Dedication: Encouraging Nurses to Fulfill Their Responsibilities

He highlights the commendable expansion of medical colleges, with the number growing from 12 in 2017 to multiple institutions established or planned across 63 districts. Recognizing Philanthropic Endeavors and Global Investments

Adityanath commends the collaborative efforts witnessed during the Global Investors Summit, where a substantial investment of Rs 500 crore was pledged for a charitable project in Uttar Pradesh. He celebrates the positive impact of partnerships between esteemed institutions such as Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute (SGPGI), King George’s Medical University (KGMU), and Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital, driving advancements in healthcare and fostering holistic development.
