NHA and CAHO have joined forces with NGOs and Generation India Foundation for qualifying nursing professionals on COVID-19, honoring the joint statement.
Through this confederation, the National Health Authority (NHA) and Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organizations (CAHO) are assisting an online indoctrination initiative, aimed for train nursing staff, owing to handling of COVID-19 patients.
This is a four-hour, complimentary online course that gives access in illustration-based, empirical and tout de suite applicable aid in the parts of contamination prevention and supervision in COVID-19 crisis, use of Personal Protective Equipment, their duties as nurses in management of critical COVID-19 patients and taking through safe-keeping of oneself.
“As this Covid-19 epidemic still goes on infecting people, it is indispensable that our combat zone of health workers, mainly our nurses who are at the helm of patients, are skilled from top-to-bottom thoroughly handling corona infected patients and shield themselves. This course gives access to online, interactive video-based learning to nurses to upgrade their consciousness on COVID. We aim to provide this course to all our 21,000+ hospitals combined under PMJAY Scheme free of cost,” said J L Meena, Joint Director NHA.
