Surat Municipal Corporation Officials has issued a notification for various posts like medical officer, staff nurse, nurse, ward boy and aya for fulfilling 398 posts. The below mentioned data specifies the vacancies available for each post:

As per the release of notification, the candidates applying for the same are required to satisfy the aforesaid educational qualification:
- Educational Qualification:
–Medical Officer: Candidates must possess MBBS degree from recognized university.
–Staff Nurse: Must possess GNM and B.Sc (Nursing).
–Nurse (ANM): Candidates applying for the same should have completed GNM.
–Ward boy and Aya: Must have completed 10th class.
2) Pay-scale criteria:
-Medical officer: Rs.60,000/-
– Staff nurse: Rs. 13,000/-
– Nurse (ANM): Rs. 13,000/-
-Ward boy and Ayah: Rs.10,000/-
