Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the nation on the 75th Independence Day and urged it to focus on the ‘Panch Pran’ for the next 25 years when completing 100 years of freedom.
He said “When your dreams are big, your resolve is big, and therefore endeavors should also be bigger. Strength also adds up to a great extent.”
Five resolutions known as ‘Panch Pran’ are as follows
- Developed India
- Remove the Mindset of Slavery
- Feel Proud of Indian Heritage
- Unity and Solidarity
- Duty of Indian Citizen
While talking about the third ‘Pran’, Shri Narendra Modi highlights holistic healthcare as an Indian Heritage and said
Holistic Healthcare
“Today the world is talking about holistic health care. But when it talks about holistic health care, it looks towards India’s yoga, India’s Ayurveda and India’s holistic lifestyle. This is the legacy that we are providing the world with. The world is being influenced by it today.”
Yoga is considered the main component of holistic healthcare and traditional medicine is also becoming the first choice for the cure of chronic diseases.
Shri Narendra Modi talks about the world’s global warming, social stress and personal stress and millet year and more.
Global Warming: Live with Nature
Now look at our strength. We are the people who know how to live with nature. We know how to love nature. Today the world is facing environment-related problems. We have that legacy and the solutions to the problems of global warming. Our ancestors have given us the same. When we talk about an environment-friendly lifestyle and LIFE mission, we attract the attention of the world.
Social Stress and Joint Family System
“When it comes to social stress, people talk of our family values; whenever it comes to personal stress, people talk of yoga. When it comes to collective tension, the people talk of the family system of India. The joint family system is an asset. Due to the sacrifices made by our mothers and sisters over the centuries, the ‘joint family system’ has evolved as a legacy. This is our legacy.”
Devine in The Plants and Rivers as Mother
“We are those people who see Shiva in every living being. We are those people who see Lord Narayana in every man. We are people who call women ‘Narayani’. We are people who see the divine in the plants. We are the people who consider the rivers as mothers. We are those people who see Shankar in every stone. This is our power. It is our potential to see every river as a form of mother. Such enormity of the environment is our pride! When we are proud of such heritage, the world too will feel proud of it.”
Coarse Paddy and Millets
“We have this power. Coarse paddy and millets are household items. This is our heritage. Due to the hard work of our small farmers, paddy flourished on small pieces of land. Today the world is moving ahead to celebrate the millet year at the international level. That means our heritage is being appreciated around the world today. Let us learn to be proud of it. We have a lot to offer to the world.”
Digital Health Revolution
“This Digital India movement of developing semiconductors, entering the 5G era, and spreading the network of optical fibers is not just to establish ourselves as modern and developed, but it is possible because of three intrinsic missions. The complete transformation of the education ecosystem, revolution in health infrastructure, and improvement in the quality of agricultural life will be possible only through digitalization.”
Hail Innovation
He added a new clarion ‘Jai Anusandhan’ to the existing three given by Shri Lal Bahadur Shashtri and late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee as Jai Jawan|! Jai Kisan! Jai Vigyan!.
Hail The Soldier!
Hail the Farmer!
Hail Science!
Hail Innovation!
