Lately, the Government of India has submitted a requisition for lateral recruitment of Joint Secretary and Director level officers. The same has also been meant for the post of a ‘Director’ (Maternal Health Issues) for unreserved category under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
Online applications are invited from the candidates who fulfil the below mentioned eligibility criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to possess Master’s degree from sanctioned university/ institute.
- Experience: Candidate should also have minimum 10 years of experience in supervisory roles in government health schemes/ projects of health sector.
- Job Description:
i) Directly report to JS (RCH), also assist and provide a link between JS (RCH) and all Program Divisions under RMNCHA+N.
ii) Under overall guidance of JS (RCH), coordinate, direct and guide the Program Divisions under RMNCHA+N for the achievement of the objectives of programs.
iii) Coordinate the inputs on financial matters, Programme Implementation Plans (PIPs), references from other ministries/agencies, State governments, and administrative matters from different Program Divisions under RMNCHA+N and compile the same for the sanction of JS (RCH) prior sharing with different departments within the MoHFW and other ministries/agencies etc.
iv) Coordinate, prepare & provide comprehensive status of all programs for numerous meetings, conferences, workshops, review missions etc.
v) Coordination of RMNCHA+N interventions, review meeting and follow up action.
vi) Lead analytical work, developing capacities & convergent planning relevant to all programs so as to accelerate achievements of PMNCHA+N indicators focusing on Aspirational districts.
vii) Smoothen the flow & exchange of information between various program divisions.
viii) Coordinating with NHSRC, Program Divisions, Finance division under NHM on Human Resource (HR) matters. Also initiate the approval process for timely renewals & new recruitment, coordinate and expedite the HR recruitment process.
ix) Coordinate with various national/international, bilateral/multilateral development, non-governmental organizations, private sector foundations, academic institution and other stakeholder, State govt on RMNCHA+N issues & provide high level of inputs on bilateral consultations & review of agreements/MOUs.
x) Provide leadership & technical support in analysing and finalizing the policies.
xi) Lead & advise the new ways of imparting trainings during Covid-19 and post covid-19 times.
xii) Preparation of Cabinet notes, Budget matters, Parliament matters, RTI matters, Annual reports etc.
xiii) Preparation of brief notes of Minister(s) and other officers.
xiv) General administration.
xv) Holistic, balanced & integrated viewpoints regarding the programme.
xvi) Further, any other task which may be assigned from time to time.
